My name is written by “包 含” in Chinese characters.
Interestingly, both two characters mean “inclusion”!
In Japanese, my name is pronunciated as “Tsutsumi Fukumu”, by which I have got used to being called.
My personal preference is being called by “Tsutsumi” in Japanese and “Han” in English :)
I love music—Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Chick Corea, Donny McCaslin, Fred Hersch, Herbie Hancock, Hiromi Uehara, Joshua Redman, Kendrick Scott, Marcus Strickland, Maria Schneider, Mark Guilliana, Rich Perry, Vijay Iyer, to mention a few—all of them are wonderful musicians.
Recently, I like to read books in social science, modern philosophy, and history on weekends.
